Beer Can Races

Sailing fun. Meet new & old friends. This is a chance to test your boat & crew before the Banderas Bay Regatta or before heading south.

How:   Download Registration Form & Race Instruction from http://www.vallartayachtclub.com. Complete the Registration Form and drop it off at the VYC with the 250-peso fee for the series, the day before your first race by 10:00am. Racers register 2 days ahead for local rating. Listen to morning Cruiser Net VHF Ch. 22 8:30 for further information.

Starts: Start times will be announce at the Roll Call 30 minutes before the first start. First Class or boat starts at 16:05 pm

Courses: The small boat Race Fleet will sail the Yellow Course. Start and Finish Marks will be near the Nuevo Vallarta entrance breakwaters. The first windward mark will be large orange or yellow mark 1 mile windward of start. The cruising class will continue first windward mark to the red and white Channel Mark. Off of Marina Vallarta then return to the windward mark and finish near the Nuevo Vallarta entrance.
