Toy Drive Dec. 1-23.The simple gift of a toy can give a kid a smile this Christmas! Starting December 1st, the VYC will be collecting toys for the kids of Families at the Dump, A.C. (FAD), also known as Familias de Esperanza. An extra item in your shopping cart can help make this Christmas a memorable one! So please help us make a child smile this year. Bring your favorite holiday appetizer or dessert to share. Enjoy some eggnog, decorate the tree, and spend some time visiting with friends before the holiday rush. Bring an ornament and help our tree represent our members!

Don't forget your toy for the FAD toy drive!

8:00 -  9:00  Golf + Dinner Dance for Toys for Tots

The Navy League is holding a benefit to raise funds to support the Toys for Tots program for Banderas Bay. It's a Golf Scramble and Gala Dinner Dance, and here is the info. You can buy tickets at the VYC.

Golf Scramble Date: December 7th at La Vista Golf Course, 11:00am Cost: $120.00 USD or $1,500.00 Pesos. Then the next day, put on your dancing shoes and come with an appetite to the Gala Dinner Dance. December 8th at Marriott Casa Magna. Cocktail Hour: 6:30, $80.00 USD or 1,000.00 Pesos. Make a chili that will vanquish all others? Can you cook it for a great cause?

Or do you just enjoy Partying With A Purpose? Come on down to the new Taste of Nuevo Vallarta and the 13th Annual Great Chili Cook-off! This year the event will be held on the beautiful Nuevo Vallarta Marina Malecon. We'll be featuring the great food of Nuevo Vallarta's wonderful restaurants, as well as the best chili our members and friends can create. It's all for a great cause - Families at the Dump and the Navy League's Toys for Tots program. We'll have great food, great music and it's a great time to greet old and new friends. A free water taxi will be provided fom the VYC clubhouse to the event.
