Rob Ladner made black eyed peas on New Years Day as part of a tradition for good luck at an annual dock party. Dick Markie added Bloody Mary's to the menu for health and the whole party moved off the dock and into the Vallarta Yacht Club sometime after the club opened. Karen and Bob O'Hara added cabbage to the menu to signify prosperity. The party has a longer history than the club itself. This is a tradition that Rob, Dick and Bob now share with others. One of the things Vallarta Yacht Club is founded on is good cheeseburgers (the other is cheap beer). We have more than one parrothead in the club ... so Cheeseburgers in Paradise is a natural!

Saturday Sliders and Vallarta Cup Awards
Do you love sliders? We sure do! Join us at Vallarta Yacht Club on Saturday, January 26 for a night of great food and great music! Chef Israel will be serving all-you-can-eat sliders, including all the topings you can get on that bun!

Valentines Day dinner and ball at the Yacht Club, complete with romantic music during a four-course dinner, and dancing after.
Dress in shorts, gowns or tuxedo!
Dinner will be served at 6:30pm.

The second (First Annual?) Vallarta Yacht Club Cruise. 10 days of relaxing on the water. Stops at Chamela Bay, Tenacatita Bay and includes a Fun Event and a Fiesta Ashore February 23. This is too much fun to miss! We plan our Cruise during the full moon in February. This year we return to La Manzanilla, we'll talk about next year and where we want to go during the cruise this year. VYC was founded by cruisers this is returning to our roots.

The Vallarta Yacht Club Annual General Meeting will be held at 10am, March 18, 2013 in the VYC Clubhouse.
All Flag, Gold Flag and Plankowner members are welcome.

This event starts off Banderas Bay Regatta Week. Join us at the Paradise Amphitheater for a show and welcome at 5:00PM, then join the BBR participants for a party at VYC starting at 6:00PM. Door prives for the first 150 people ... Special Event Menu 170 pesos (members) 250 pesos (non-members)
