    Come join us at the Annual Vallarta Yacht Club Art and Wine Festival.

    A large selection of wines will be available for tasting at a variety of price levels.  Come buy tasting tickets, sample and enjoy!

    Featured artists from around the Banderas Bay area as well as inland will be present to show off their creations, which are available for sale.

    We will have a Silent Auction of donated items, including objet d'art, restaurant meals, excursions and accomodations.

    We will also have a raffle of interesting featured items.

     Speaker:  Armando Rubio Delgado

    Oscar is a Veterinarian specializing in Crocodiles. He has sought out and captured over 200 crocodiles in Mexico for the government and other agencies. He will speak on natural history and biology of the species, and history in Banderas Bay. Also, habitat and conflict with other species. Actions and results in other places,  and recommendations for Banderas Bay.

  • 4:30 -  5:30  Thursday Beer Can Races

    VYC hosts Thursday evening Beer can race series.

    There is one series each month in December,  February, March and April.

    The Racers and Cruisers/Racers are invited. They will compete on an around-the-buoy course.

    First start is 4:30 p.m. at a starting line off Nuevo Vallarta entrance or the Marina Vallarta entrance.

    Results will be announced at the VYC at about 6:30. Beer and burgers will be available.

    Check the Morning Cruiser's net 8:30AM on channel 22 for race information on race day.

    Registration Fee: Complete the downloadable registration form and drop  it off at the VYC with the 250 peso fee for each series of 2 to 4 races Event Chairperson Mike Danielson, Sponsors, J World & PV Sailing.

    Registration is at 10:00 and first game begins at 10:15

    Entry fee is $150 and includes a salad bar lunch.

  • 6:00 - 10:00  The Great StickHorse Races at the Club

    Six stick steeds will compete with the shake of the dice to race with their colorful jockeys from the club entrance to the veranda. This event will compete with the grandure and pomp of Churchhill Downs. Check out your horses and get your bets down soon. This an social event not to miss!

    Dinner will be served at 6:00 PM. The call to the post will be at 7:00 PM.  Trackside announcer: Mike Gowen will be calling the race.
