Spring Fling Cruise #3 - Join us on a short trip north to Punta de Mita. The anchorage is great and we'll enjoy a late season evening in Punta de Mita. We want to try Rocio's Restaurant on the beach, we have a promise of panga service at a reasonable price. Punta de Mita is a location where the land cruisers can join us and we hope that we can have a nice evening on the beach!

8:00 - 9:00 Altruism Festival Ticket Sales every day
Tickets will be on sale daily at the VYC for the 2012 Altruism Festival. Come and join the community in support of charitable organizations at the 8th Altruism Festival, hosted by Casa Magna Marriott Resort Puerto Vallarta and the United States Consular Agency.
Over 20 organizations from around Banderas Bay will come together in an evening of altruism & gastronomy. The festival will feature a wide range of activities including food samples from more than 40 of Puerto Vallarta’s finest restaurants, as well as live music, dance and cultural presentations.
The event is held in the garden area of the Marriott CasaMagna Resort, Marina Vallarta, Sunday, May 6 from 6-10pm. Tickets are $300 pesos in advance & $400 at the door. Tickets sold at all participating charities and the Vallarta Yacht Club.

BBCC (Bucerias Bilingual Community Center) Announces new Cooking Class: Mexican cuisine Friday April 27 at 6:00 PM.
Join Linda R. Harley, chef and cooking instructor, formerly of the Urban Kitchen in New York City, who now lives in Bucerias, in a memorable cooking experience. To each class she brings her passion, her culinary expertise and her extensive travels, which include 35 years of living and cooking throughout Latin American and the Caribbean. A fun way to spend time with family, friends . . . and fantastic food!! During the cooking class, AbueLinda offers a presentation on Mexico's people, their diets, as well as Mexico's culinary gifts to the world. A portion of the proceeds from all classes is donated to the BBCC.Classes are two and a half hours and consist of a Mexican meal with an appetizer, Mexican rice and a regional main course, agua fresca, a typical dessert, and take home recipes.AbueLinda can also be contacted for private cooking classes and cooking parties in which you gather your group; she brings all ingredients and her staff to assist in the preparation and service of the meal.
