This week begins with Registration and Measurement for the Laser Men's Standard Championship on Tuesday and Wednesday.  This event again, will have Olympic Class athletes, with sights set on the Olympics in Rio de Janeiro this summer.  There are 115 competitors from 42 countries.  Among the entries are 12 Mexican Sailors including Yanic Gentry, member of Vallarta Yacht Club.  And yes, that is Yanic in this picture at a previous championship.  

 

Registration is May 10 and 11. There is an opening ceremony on May 11 at 6pm in the Ampitheater at Paradise Village, and an awards ceremony at the Yacht Club on May 18. 

 

Racing starts May 12 and wraps up May 18.
