    11:00 am Opening Flag Ceremony: Mexico - USA – Canada

    11:15 am Commodore and Priest Welcome remarks

    11:30 am Blessing of the Fleet -Priest will bless the fleet in a panga. Mariners are encouraged to join in the procession with their dinghies or tenders. Everyone is welcome to participate.

    11:30 Novice Junior Sailing Program. Young sailors (8-10years) will demonstrate their sailing skills in a Lagoon regatta. Parents and non-students have the opportunity to experience sailing in J-World’s two J-80 sailboats or just watch the fleet up close aboard a panga or powerboat. Space will be granted on a “First come First Serve” basis . Sign up at Vallarta Yacht Club.

    12:00 – 18:00 Public Open House at the Club – Snacks served and Cash bar. Information booths on VYC membership, The Junior Sailing Program, The Navy League and Boat Mexico.

    14:00 – 16:30 Advanced Junior Sailing Offshore Regatta – Our young sailors will enjoy a regatta outside the Paradise Village Marina breakwater with Optis, Lasers and 420s boats. Spectator boat Sign up at Vallarta Yacht Club.

    17:00 pm Presentation VYC 2008/2009 Events Calendar Commodore John Moore will make a presentation of the Vallarta Yacht Club Goals and Events planned for the 2008/2009 Season

    18:00 pm Fund Raiser Spaghetti Dinner for Junior Sailing Program Fun  Spaghetti Dinner and Salad – Admission Adults $120.00 pesos - Kids $60.00 pesos
